For commissioned notaries

Be considered for future nationwide assignments.

NotarySpan welcomes expressions of interest from state-commissioned mobile and remote online notaries who value clear instructions, dependable communication, and jurisdiction-aware work. Interest profiles may expand the large nationwide sourcing network available for assignment-specific placement.

Interest is not an assignment guarantee

Profile review does not promise volume, employment, exclusivity, or a specific assignment. Every order remains subject to location, timing, credentials, experience, and client requirements.

The standard we are building around

01

Commission-first practice

Perform only authorized notarial acts within the scope of the commission, governing law, and applicable platform rules.

02

Instruction discipline

Read the assignment, confirm unclear operational details, and follow authorized printing, scanback, shipping, and closeout steps.

03

Prompt communication

Confirm availability accurately and report signer, document, identity, timing, or delivery exceptions as soon as they arise.

04

No unauthorized advice

Return legal, document, certificate, or transaction questions to the authorized client or receiving party instead of guessing.

What to include initially

Start with a concise capability profile. Sensitive credential records can be requested through a secure path later in review.

  • Full legal name, business name if applicable, phone, and email
  • Commissioning state or states and each commission expiration date
  • Primary counties, cities, ZIP codes, or practical travel radius
  • Mobile, remote online, or hybrid signing capability
  • Remote platform authorization or training, where applicable
  • Relevant loan, real-estate, legal, or general notary signing experience
  • Current background screening and E&O information, if held or required
  • Printing, scanback, shipping, witness, language, and availability capabilities

Protect your information

Do not attach a driver's license, Social Security number, unredacted background report, commission image, W-9, banking information, or other sensitive records to the first email. Begin with the capability details above. Supporting records should be shared only after NotarySpan and the professional agree on an appropriate secure transfer method.

Professionals considered for assignments are expected to maintain their own active commission, required registrations or authorizations, equipment, records, and compliance with applicable law. Assignment terms and client-specific requirements are communicated for each order.

Review the public NotarySpan network standard before expressing interest.
